Short Biography:

Being an artist is a meaningful way of preserving our culture and passing on traditions to the younger generation. I am a self-taught artist who began my artistic journey in 2016 under the mentorship of my husband, Olemogeng Q. Moses Maaramele, who has been practicing art since 1994.

I began selling my artworks in 2018, and since then, my pieces have been acquired by collectors from Germany, Sweden, England, and Finland. Between 2020 and 2022, various government ministries in Botswana purchased several of my works.
I have exhibited at the National Museum of Botswana, where I received first position for Best in Painting in 2022. In 2024, I showcased my work at The Space Botswana, where I was awarded a certificate of recognition by Sir Alexander. In 2025, I exhibited internationally at Wallington, USA, and Latitudes, South Africa.
