Since 1998, Thapong Visual Art Centre has been a cornerstone of the arts community. We’ve grown from modest beginnings to a full-fledged venue, complete with renovated studios and an airy workshop shed, replacing the old tents in 2005.

Our artist residencies, established in 2002, bring international talent to work side-by-side with local artists, culminating in exciting exhibitions and community outreach.
